The forbidden fruit lay on my tongue,
A sly bite worth a million sin.
The trickling juice travels slow,
A mouthful of sky with patches of earth.
The clouds and the mud all at once.
I taste the fluff from my dreams,
my palate anxious and hungry for more.
Ansd suddenly I hear a growl within.
At first I thought of it as my rumbling heart.
But as I listened in that wanton lust,
I knew my stomach had tasted blood.
stopping now would be foolish indeed,
for the hunger had mated with my greed.
I was once in love with the right and wrong.
The dos' and don't consumed me for long.
Now when I look, I see all merge in one,
It's true, the pleasures of a rover comes only when you shun.
I like my fruit the forbidden way.
A music to my ears, a gentle sway.
For all who despise me can talk of love
'Coz I have found my treasure trove.
